  1. I already said its a bad idea (and if you're reading this Will, DON'T PLAY WOW)....

... but when you put it like you have, apg39 - how is him playing WoW any different to half this forum playing "fast and the furious" by wasting all their money on car parts that aren't really going to take them anywhere in life?? I bet a large handful of this forum is nearing 30, still living in a rental in the outer suburbs, and get drunk every Friday and Saturday night without fail; and only have their Toyota and drunken memories to show for themselves...

I think that is a greater failure in life than coming home and playing WoW after school/work.

I agree there are lots of people who 'waste' (I use the term loosely because there are many arguements for/against) money on mods. I've been tempted myself. I guess the only thing I can say is forums/car modding is real not imaginative?

For the record, Im 22, work as a full time professional, renting at the moment because I've just got a promotion & moved states but buying in the next 12 months. I only have a handful of beers a week after work and only get drunk once every 6 months maybe.

  2. OMFG.

Cant even believe people are undecided between wasting their life sitting in front of a computer playing games while their health & social skills deteriorate while wasting money on something thats already paid for ......and then there is actually LIVING life.

You'll look back and regret it once you turn 30. Maybe even when you turn 25. Maybe even next year. You'll have nothing to show for yourself other than a useless WoW character, when you could have been working or studying or enjoying your young years.

Touch a girl. Or boy. Get drunk (as in more than 1 Cruiser). Work you ar$e off. Study. Just don't touch WoW.

  3. Someone will have to organise a East coast group buy...Im in WA so all savings will be lost sending them over East to you guys.

Being in WA, we've kind accepted that we have to pay more. Especially when your in any town BUT Perth.

he has had them for over 1 month now, I bought a pair for 350 baht

    Azza

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand why didnt we know about this?

  4. Hey - random Q's which I just thought of.

With Varex's running off a remote...and Aurions having 2 mufflers - does that mean we'd have to lug around 2 remotes? or can it be hooked up to work on 1 remote?

And is there any way possible of rigging it up so there's like a rocker switch on the small panel to the right of the steering wheel? (Near electic side mirrors)

And if 2 Aurions are together, both with Varex...can it be controlled on the same remote or are they on different frequencies?

  5. I may put the front exhaust section on hold for a bit longer. I don't think fixing it while my Aurion is N/A will provide any benefits ;). Not that I've got any plans or anything.

x2, its the least of my worries at the moment.

Down the track....maybe, but right now I dont have the time, motivation or $ to do it.

  6. Yeha I've been to Tempe Tyres before, got wheels on the Forester & not overly keen to go back there. Im not the only one too.

That and I live in WA. If I decided to get them freighted over Im pretty sure I wont get what I asked for, heard it happen a few times when they send cheaper/smaller tyres instead.
