Agreed, UHP/semi-slicks always look better with a square/chunky sidewall, proper race-cars don't run stretch because who doesn't need more rubber on the ground? :PBridgestones looked better, because racecar! :)
Yes I agree with both of you but me being me it just didn't suit the style of wheel. I'm looking for STI BRZ wheels to fit semi slicks on, was going to fit them on my stockies but I think 225 on a 7" rim was a bit of overkill....Sold them for what I paid, phew

What size are the stock Michelins?
Stockies are 215/45/17

Damn that was quick, pics at the ready :D yep very clean, very nice
edit: oops new page, repost?

Nice updates, exhaust done yet? needs more pics ;)

Hmm yep you might be right.. For what I'm after and price wise these guys have what I want, similar to the entry level Cusco coils I'm looking at..
Like I mentioned a heap of good reviews but there's always that one negative comment you've read that you always go back to :( well I do ...
I was going through your build thread too, I thought you had MCA stuff

I'm looking at coilovers now and there's a heap of Jap brands and cheaper brands available these days but I have heard and read a lot of good stuff on the MCA coilovers. Anyone had experience with MCA and or their products ?

Wow,last heading was shown as Nov meet.
New job so not much time to jump on forum like I used to, but still here.
As for the meets feel free to organize cruises etc in this thread and for future reference the EOM meet is always the last Sat of each month regardless of what the title reads as I may not have time to update dates. Hopefully I can make this month because it has been a while.. Thanks :)

Fitted G88 overpipe and Blitz front pipe(borrowed pic) and makes the TOM'S muffler sound amazing now.Was raspy to begin with but now WOW, cold start up Maserati sound, I kid you not but then revs drop and sounds tame,perfect... No difference down low but mid to top range is noticeably more responsive.

Well it looks like i'll be eating my words from my previous post
Fitted up the new tyres but way too chunky for this wheel, more suited to a track wheel so I caved and fitted my stockies on them, yes with stretch.Pretty happy with the result but will be painting the centres and possibly coilovers to complete the look..
Bridgestone 225/45/17
Stock Michelins

Tyre time as well. Was going to stretch my stockies but need to be lower and crazy low offset to pull off that look meaning impractical,If I can't do it right I won't do it at all :D
Got myself some Bridgestone Potenza RE070 rubber to be fitted up this week and just a little exhaust work... Hopefully done this week..

Nicccce. They will be perfect for the 86 car! Did you buy through Leo?
Thanks man, yeah from Leo and what a top bloke I must say, genuine nice guy and best price from him, by far.
Going for a clean look with these,I'll still get a black set of rims but that look is a bit too common at the moment
I like where this is going.
Thanks Trent, I'am hoping it's going in the right direction

OK here they are,new 2014 Seeker range from Work Wheels and first set in OZ
Work Seeker FX
Two piece

Polished 3" stepped lip, centre is painted silver then face is machined then cleared.Possibly paint centres down the track.
Not a fan of poke but once tyres are fitted then off the jacks they should sit flush.
