  1. The Vanguard is what you are thinking of. I wouldn't recommend trying to add in the 3rd row seats, even though they would probably fit, they wouldn't be ADR compliant.
  2. far from over and did you by any chance see the US special edition?
  3. Hi Maccat, do you have the diesel or petrol variant? 4x4 or 4x4? And what type of roads are you driving on? 550km is about right for the petrol on mixed type of roads. Never heard of this power boost program you are talking about but I wouldn't hold your breath if I were you..
  4. yea sounds like that hilux was abused before you bought it...
  5. Family First Leader Senator Steve Fielding will introduce new laws to make repairing the family car cheaper. The Choice of Repairer Bill 2010 would make it a legal requirement for the giant car makers to hand over the technical and diagnostic tools necessary for servicing all new vehicles. Senator Fielding said ordinary Australians were being ripped off with higher prices from dealer repairers because it was becoming increasingly difficult to get their cars serviced at less expensive, independent repairers, due to the lack of access to vital technical information. Stuart Charity from the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association (AAAA) said if the legislation passed it could save thousands of jobs. See attachment for full media release. 175N1703.PDF
  6. turn off the aircon and drain all your windscreen washer fluid. take out the floor mats
  7. I have Liquid Metal!! :D You need to add that to the list. It's a new facelift colour.
  8. i'd have to disagree with you there. I don't see any hints of IS-F and I'm glad for that. I agree with the person who said the Hyundai logo should be changed, they need to re-position their brand and that would be a good start. Even though that car looks damn nice from the outside, and may even drive pretty well, just having that H logo staring at me in the face from the steering wheel would put me off every time.
  9. I recommend getting one that has dual zone with the GPS. If you don't you will get tired of using the GPS without being able to play music/radio.
  10. yea the whole lot, exterior, interior and tint. Done by Truseal, except the tint was done by someone else, forget whom.
  11. Yea I saw it too, it's some big news. Bad for the aussie motoring industry. Hopefully the suppliers can still survive on Toyota and Holden. I wonder what will become of Bathurst.
  12. damn u got ripped on the tinting and X pack. when i got my corolla they did it all for $900 (they initially quoted $1200), which I still think was overpriced.
  13. It's not an official toyota ad. it was made for a competition sponsored by toyota, run by saatchi & saatchi.
