hi guys have not used my car in a long time charged the battery and then took it out and noticed my 6x9s behind the seats were not working so pulled the back seat off and seen the light on the amp that runs the 6x9s had the power protector on so pulled all the wires out and then made shore it was back OK and still on.

the white amp runs the sub..

the plugs that are unpluged go to the Sony amp from the white amp from the head unit.

the red Sony amp runs the 6x9s...

Craig...

Have you checked the Fuses? If you have a single power source with a fuse running to the amps then splitting just before the amps, and only one amp is functioning, then I would check the fuse of the one not working. (That would be the blue horizontal thing on the side of the Sony amp in the second picture)

Failing that....i'd start poking around the power and eart sources with a test lamp....

Cheers

yes already looked but if the fuse was gone (blown) then there would be no power at all

thanks any way

i had the same problem with the amp hitting protection mode.

just make sure youve scraped enough paint away to provide enough bare metal for the ground and it should be right
