installing splits in corolla

hi

just want to know how can i install my splits in the front doors?

they and 6.5 Boston Acoustics FS60 Splits.

i got the door trimming off but what about the speaker?

can i use that plastic bracket what the speak is on?

You have to drill the pop rivits out that hold that plastic suround in place, then use the bracket that should have come with the speakers and drill a few joles to mount them.

I managed to fit the tweeters behind the grill where the original ones were. but it was tight.

you can use the original plastic surround...

i chose to make my own up out of mdf and instead of rivets, used a screw thingy.. not sure how you describe it.

I've heard that you can install them onto the existing brackets. Just need to peel the stock ones off.

I have the exact same speakers as yours. But I removed my stock brackets and put some mdf ones in.
