I had my Aurion converted just over 10000k's ago and it is great.

It will do 10.5l/100km on the highway (very cheap running when you are paying 50 something cents per litre). You only know you are on gas when you have your foot buried and even then, the performance difference is only just noticeable.

I do about 30000k's per year, so the cost (after gov rebate) will be made up in just over one year. Could not be happier.

All going well with the conversion, my only issue's are that the gas filler is crammed into the petrol fill point( I did not want an external gas fill point, have to just live with it 'maybe a little re-engineering' ). The petrol door does not shut properly because of the gas filler, this should be fixed Friday and the first matter discussed as to the best approach. I am having the 1000km installation check for the gas system at the same time to ensure correct operation.

The all important usage figures: NB These figures are not from driving with economy in mind, I enjoy the 200Kw of Toyota power and sports mode

393km using 41.22ltrs = 10.49lt/100km around town running

414km using 38.81ltrs = 9.37lt/100km Sydney/Newcastle trip with around town running

So for around $25 (Gas @ 0.59) I am doing 400km (Based on 10.50lt/100km)

Where as I believe petrol at 9.5lt/100 (petrol @ 1.2) would cost around $45 for 400km

Conversion will pay for itself in two years ($4000 Conversion less $1750 Rebate)

Cheers Hope this helps

hey guys

newbie to the forum. my first post. bought a toyota aurion sportivo 2009 zr6 and got the lpg conversion with the company that did the last one for camry sportivo. i am suffering the same problem as member KLT3912. I have not taken the car to the service centre yet but imagine i will get a similar response.

the triangular attention light stays on

the "check vsc system" message stays on

the traction control light stays on

the engine warning issue light stays on

it is exactly the same lights as seen in DJKOR post on 7 jan 2010.

i am absolutely gutted and will try get the installer to have a look to fix it up. meanwhile if anyone knows of a similar issue and how it was resolved, i'd love to know. thanks so much
