Hi there

I have an 05 Corolla Sportivo and I've run the original Bridgestones with standard shocks for 2+ years. i'm now looking to upgrade the tyres at least and the suspension if I can manage it. Does anyone have any suggestions?

In the nicest possible manner, do a search, cause there have been a myriad of threads created regarding tyre/shock/spring setups...

If recommend some bridgestone Adrenalin RE001 in 205/50/16, as this size fits over the stock rims. These tyres are like super glue in dry/wet when combined with good suspension. You will feel alot more in control and safer on the road.

There's an entire section devoted to wheels and tyres and an entire section devoted to suspension and brakes. Should mostly be ZZE Corolla stuff so have a peek. Really the answer to your question lies in your wallet.

Possibly by not having kids you get more spending money?

Second vote for Adrenaline's. Easily above any of the Drive series from Yokohama for a cheaper price.

Oi.

I'd die for my yokohama's :P I've used no other tyre on my cars. The Escort still has the A509's on it. Potenza's are also a good option from Bridgestone.

(I lost faith in Bridgestone when I initally 'put' faith in those woeful Turanza's. Pathetic tyre.)
