Headlights

Hi all,

It might just be me, but for whatever reason it seems to me that the Aurion has relatively dim headlamps standard...

What types of halogen bulbs have others here tried? I am not interested in updating to HID, so I am looking into better halogen lamps with slightly less yellow tinge to them and a better beam throw. I have the Aurion Touring SE model.

I can't say I have noticed this with my SX6 - in fact I thought on high beam they are much brighter/whiter than previous standard Holdens I have had. THe SX6 has fog light spots so that may make a difference.

Ive tried the MTEC 4750K bulbs, they defiantly look better then the standard bulb, but not much difference

in light performance from the standard bulb.

Ive currently got H.I.Ds isntalled as the MTEC bulbs werent the brightness i was after.

If you are located in brisbane, im happy to let u put my MTEC bulbs on, to see if it was what you were after =)

I'll sell you my MTEC's same as ZZ's - $20 working fine.

Get what I get OSRAM Nightbreakers. 90% more light + 10% more whiter, its as bright as some bmw hid's already and very excellent in rain. Its bright enough for people to think your on highbeams until u flick th HBeam switch and they just get shocked haha.
