Is an oil cooler required for towing?

I recently purchased a small (12ft) caravan and will be towing it with the V6 Camry Azura.

Should I have a transmission oil cooler fitted or is the standard Camry OK for this sort of towing?

if u look at ur manual i think it says that it should be okay.....considering u dont do long hill climbs and stay in low gears for a long time.....bt its always safer to get a cooler fitted...esp if u going to be towing tht caravan around frequently.....

Having a transmission cooler is a good idea. You may find that you car has already got one fitted as standard. My 2004 Altise V6 has one standard.
