Don't think it would be a good idea to run this grade of oil in a 2zz. It's remains a little too thick at high temperature for such a high revving engine. (I just read an article on oil grades, etc in from VACC)

You're absolutely right. Just checked the lube guide on castrol's web site.

So what grade oil should i be running for sportivo, 10w40 or 0w40?

be careful with magnatec too. I've heard bad reports about it from a couple of different mechanics.

Im curious what do they say about it?

There's nothing wrong with magnatec. It doesn't belong in certain cars though that's for sure. Mechanics should read the label.

When I had my Sportivo I ran it on nothing but 5W-30 Edge. The recommended oil (the magnatec) was too thick imo.
