Sportivo VVTL-i

Hi, Has anyone on here replace a window regulator and motor in their sportivo? Is the part the same as corolla zze122 model?

I would if I know what to do...I'm a noob when it comes to these kind of stuff.

Does the sound come and go or is it constant?

My Sportivo is making a rattling sound every time I let go of the accelerator. Its more noticeable when I'm driving at a slow speed around 60km and under. It also make that noise when the engine is idling and in neutral after a drive. The sounds seemed to be coming from the driver side near the drive belt. I have uploaded the sound hoping someone on here can identify what could be wrong with the car because its driving me crazy, you can hear it more clearly around the 30 seconds mark. Hey Chicken where did you get that T5 wedge plastic holder from and is it a direct replacement from stock?

I think i got the same problem, I can only hear the noise under heavy braking...I've check the brake pads and they seemed fine. I would also like to know what caused that noise.

I could be wrong but that what happened to me. I have to replaced the same fuse 3 or 4 times until i found out that my wire is loose, after i fixed the wire the problem went away.

Try checking your fuse. I have the same problem when i did the mod, my brake lights stop working and the ABS light came on. I found out that one of my wire is not connected properly and blow one of my fuse. The ABS light is just warning telling you that your brake lights is out.

Some one should organise a group buy.

Hey thats me, but i dont have HID's...im just running normal mtec bulbs. Your ride is hot, what suspension are you running? you got pretty good sub...i can hear your bass in my car on the freeway. At the traffic lights i didnt even notice the other car beside me, you guys took off but my gf told me not to do anything haha

So what grade oil should i be running for sportivo, 10w40 or 0w40?

I only ask for a wheel balance because I thought my alignment is still in order as the steering wheel is not pulling to the left or the right. Should Bob Jane have checked the tire pressure when they're doing the wheel balancing? Would it throw off the balance if the tires are not fully inflated when the wheel balance was done? I have pump my tires up to 35 psi and it somewhat reduced the shaking but now I find the shaking comes and go when doing more than 100. On the tire wall it says max 50psi so is 35psi be enough or should I go up more?

I just check my tires pressure before with a digital meter and all four tires are sitting on around 23.5 psi. Can this contribute to the steering wheel shaking and also what psi should I pump the tire to for 17" rims?

He already got hub rings. What you need next are or some wheel alignment. Brakes could only contribute to the vibrating/shaking when you brake and the steering wheel shudders. This could be cause by one side of the brake discs being thinner than the other. Get the thickness of the brake discs checked out. Would getting a wheel alignment really help? I thought wheel alignment only make the car travel in a straight direction so that wont address the shaking issue The shaking/vibration only occur when travelling on the freeway and not when applying the brakes. I might get the wheels rebalance again...I got a feeling that Bob Jane did a half ***** job on it. Can anyone recommend a good wheel balance place in the northern area?
