Hi All!!!

I am thinking of getting DBA slotted 4000series rotors for my levin, i was wondering can i just changed the fronts??

or do i have to change all 4??

Also do any of you think this is overkill??

I just want to have a car that will stop in a safe distance(wet and dry) and if i decide to track the car the brakes will be able to hold up.

Thanks

your probably best off upgrading the pads first and then if your still not happy with it change your rubber and if your still not happy then change the fluid and finally chane your disks.

i have already look in to this and talked to race brakes sydney, they say it can be done by getting the blank 4000 series disc and drill the 4x100pcd but because the celica disc is bigger we new a new bracket........so i think i just go with the slotted disc.

Upgrade the pads and tyres before going to the rotors. Unless the rotors are worn out and need replacing. Also, don't forget the replace the brake fluid if it is older than 12 months.

As for using the larger 2zz rotors on the 1zz corolla's, I designed up a part that will allow this, but been too lazy to have an automotive engineer sign it off as street legal.

This is what I think of slotted and cross drilled rotors.
