First of all ask your self what can I realistically sell my Celica for?

How many k's has it done? What is the engine condition? Is there rust in the body? Whats the overall cndition of the car? What are the small nagging issues that need to be fixed? Will you sell it with RWC and rego or not?

There alot to think about when selling a car and putting all this into perspective is often overlooked.

To be brutally honest with you you are better off keeping your 184 and STAY WELL CLEAR of that GT4 your looking at buying...

You will have more problems with a 7k GT4 then you ever will with your current daily. *I cannot express that point across to you more*

A GT4 going for that much is sure to have some decent problems that have either been covered up for the time being or will hit you later on down the track.

Put it this way... Having a GT4 worth 7k as your daily and doing your MK3 2J project you will probably spend more time working on BOTH cars then actually driving them. Unless you have a healthy wallet or you are mechanically able to do alot of 'minor' and 'major' things to these two then start getting to know your public transport system. I did when I blew my motor up in MRFOUR!

nothing is wrong with it

mounts

im tired of lack of power

Yeah i reckon you should keep the celica hey,

Have one slow reliable car, and one soon to be fast project car.

I agree with Silly-Karr here.

My two cents!!

Sell the Celica then but just stay away from that GT4.

You may be a mechanic and get cheap parts and do all the work yourself but how easily accessable are parts for the GT4 and MK3.

Having owned a GT4 for 3 years now I know that most, if not all, bolt-on/aftermarket parts are imported from Japan. Now with the MK3 a mate of mine owns one and has to get majority of his sh*t from the states.

But your a 'mechanic' so that is all.
