Hi All,

I just bought a new RHD 2008 Land Cruiser, V8, 4.7L, Fully Loaded, one that was made for the Japanese market, so obviously all dash clusters, entertainment head unite’s OSD are in Japanese..

Is there a way or a CD that can convert this head unit display and possibly the main display from Japanese to English as all the functions are touch screen operational.

Otherwise, would any one suggest replacing the head unit with one that is made for an English speaking market, and would doing so solve problem?

Any input, suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.

Cruiser One.

I guess this is a problem one encounters when an imported vehicle is purchaced and imported rather than buying a local model.

I got one last solution... make friends with someone who speaks Japanese and English of course :) They will definitely be able to sort it out for you if there is an option to change it to English. Otherwise get another headunit :)
