Auto up/down function on driver's windows has stopped working!?

Hey all,

In a strange coincidence, this started staright after my clutch was installed. It still goes up and down manually if I hold the button though.

Any idea if this could be fuse related and still function manually? Or if the battery being disconnected could cause something like this?

Or is it something totally random like some water potentially leaking into the wrong spot due to all the rain we've been getting lately?

Its all because they disconnected the battery at some stage

To fix, hold the button all the way down for about 30 secs, and then all the way up for 30 secs, then repeat.

This usually fixes the button, otherwise it simply comes back after a couple of days.

Micky, it can be done quicker than 1 minute. Put window all the way down, release button; then push down again until you hear the relay click. Then go all the way up, release again; then pull up again until the relay clicks. Job done. This is the method for people living in the go go 90's :P
