id go the kenwood, my mate works at jb, and showed me how shibby pioneer is, great units but the quality of the items they use to make these units are poor.

Pioneer is a good piece of gear, not a huge fan of Kenwood (no real reason, just don't like 'em). The only real problem you'll have with the Pioneer deck is ground tracks blowing in the RCA's (which is fixable by wiring things up properly).
