aiming headlights

Hi

Could someone PLEASE tell me how I can adjust the angle of my headlights? They point to low and everytime I have to drive at night they send me crazy!

I have pulled out the indicator lights and had a look around in there but can't see anything obvious. The car manual says to consult the tarago dealer but, really, this should just be an easy thing to do - shouldn't it?? I don't want to pay someone to do it for me when i am a perfectly capable woman who knows my way around a car with a phillips head screwdriver and some common sense.

Please post your answers asap!

Sorry, I'm not sure about the Tarago but I got something to say.

I think the headlight aiming from factory is the best.......if you adjust it too high....it will blind the other drivers :( which would be danger.

If you really want to adjust it, pls make sure the light beam won't go above the should of the front car's seat.

Don't worry - I've done it before on others cars and know the way to do it safely

Thanks for your concerns.

Any hints anyone??

without proper tools it's a bit of hit and miss with the calibration.

wat u need is some flat ground, a wall preferably white and some tape.

park the vehicle 2-3ft from the wall and mark out the beam with the tape. and then mark the spot of the 2 front tyres so u know the distance. go out for a drive. if u're not happy come back and re-adjust. bear in mind a couple of mm of movement along those walls translates into a couple of metres on the road. i would suggest slowly raising them a little everyday until u are happy with them.

like cooley said make sure u are not blinding anyone.

i'm assuming u know how to adjust them.

Thanks all-

I managed to fix the headlights - had a bit of trouble finding the little screws to adjust them but, once they were found the rest was easy

Take care
