Hey guys been looking for some new brakes, for the new model corolla, dont want anything over the top, just something to stop me quicker, without having to get into flooring the brakes and activating ABS, was thinking of putting them in after i get new rims, but wanted to know what my options where, in brand and price. I have been looking, but i guess i don't know where to look , MEGA-NOOB.

C-One have come out with slotted rotors and brake pads.

How good are they? I'm not sure. Maybe someone else can answer that since I've never used them b4.

Check them out. The limited English on the page should sufficiently guide you around the site

I think Endless, SSS, SSM, SSY, and Project Mu, Type NS, B-Spec, Bestop, have come out with some pads, and maybe rotors for the ZRE. Dixcel might have also, in their range go for the 'M Compound'. Those being Japanese however will cost a bit at the moment, might be better off sourcing something local.
