They are purely for looks only. They emit nowhere near the amount of light required to illuminate the road. I'm sure a Maglite strapped to your car will give better illumination.

Hi Guys

There are some LED/SMD based products to replace H7 globes available on ebay. Has anyone used them? are they any good? are they street legal for low beams?

cheers

honestly, go with the option of getting them from autobarn,

i had some el cheapo ones installed thanks to some members on here, but one of the lights has now burnt itself out. the bulb had 7 LED's in it, and the other one is getting there too... so next time, i will be getting just the single LED bulb for my parkers

well i just fixed my reverse lights with some awsome 18 led replacement bulbs that fit in the rear.

brake lights are 2 prong but the leds are single, so i have yet to try.

the reverse lights are awesome!!!!!!!!!

if you put the plain white led in the indicator bulb, its an off yellow(because too bright) and it ticks really fast. so i stuck to the normal bulb.

using blue led for parkers, i just put them in tonight and its soooo sexy!!!!

the attached photos are blue leds( look much bluer in person)

and reverse light. so bright!

taken on phone camera btw.
