problem with rear skirt

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

Bought a rear skirt for my rolla a month ago and was to get it painted/fitted today, i went to pick it up this arvo, they painted it fine but are saying they cant fit it due to my exhaust in the way etc, said he would have to cut to much out, i put it up and held it there and it looks as though it would need an inch cut out in height at the highest point and maybe 4-5 wide due to two barell exhaust. To me it looked as there would be plenty left to support it, but i dont know where to go from here, he said i prob need a new single exhaust fitted, which im not keen on buying.

Any ideas/advice would be appreciated,

thanks

It will fit no problems if you do a cutout for the exhaust tips.

Your dodgy panel beater is trying to make you buy an exhaust tip.

yeah his right lol if you look at majority of the people here, only portions are cut out

hey thanks for the info, spoke to him again today, he said he was worried that if he cuts, the support will be quite weak and the thing may sag in like six months, any merit in that? i was thinking i could maybe get the exhaust tip lowered or on an angle maybe?
