HJ 45 help

hi my name is Ian a new member joined today from sunny redcliffle in brisbane.

i hope someone can help me with my project

i wish to find someone close by in brisbane that restores old HJ45's. i plan on removing the engine and do some work on the motor (351 cleveland) .

while i complete that i am looking for a company that can restore the body work etc. the body is original except the roof is fibreglass and in excellent condition with only small rust pockets.

my main concern is the underfloor sound and heat proofing and the same with the firewall. the body was resprayed a couple of years ago by the old owner but not stone guarded as now i'm getting stars in the paintwork in the guards.

all up she's a good looking ute but needs that extra time taken to fix her up

i plan on going right through her bit by bit

so far overhauled the power steering the alternator the cooling system

so much more to write about her
