Hi to all from Brisvagas. Have just picked up a 1975 Hiace campervan built on a hiace pickup (which I never knew existed). Due to some medical problems I have been forced to retire at the ripe old age of 44 so I have a bit of time to restore the old girl then plenty of time to use her.

I have been a Australian car man my whole life and this is my first toyota. The first thing i noticed when i started researching her was how many sites world wide are dedicated to toyota and how helpful the toyota people are. I have already sold my ford and think this is a relationship that is going to last.

I am now turning this camper into my home and about to hit the frog and toad. If anyone can expand on the history of these vehicles I would enjoy the knowledge. Nice to meet all you great toyota people.
