Alright so heres the go...

After my suspension went in I had an alignment and balance done but I still had pull left and steering wheel shake (shaking when in excess of 120km/hr).

So I booked my car in for another balance and alignment. (Saturday 22/8).

Since I already had the rest of my sound system going in on Friday 21/8, Saturday was the easiest possible time (due to work).

So the sound system went in on Friday, YES IT KICKS *****.

Then on Saturday I drove down (with the beats pumping) to maroochydore to have the balance and alignment done.

Dropped the car off with a friend then we drove around to the movies in his car while we waited.

After the movie, driving back to my car I got a call. "Your car is finished, we've got some problems, you'd better come soon".

:(

I get there and the guy goes "Did you run off the road? You've got a buckled wheel and rear toe in is 11.7mm"

So in summary, driver rear wheel is F**KED and my rear...get this...rear wheel is in 7.5 and left is 3.9mm.

Feel free to correct me but i believe normal toe in on a 1zz is 1.5mm?

So my rear wheels are bent in at the front.

Since the rear is non-adjustable it's either BENT CONTROL ARMS or BENT REAR AXLE.

What i'm thinking so far...

Get the new rim on (already ordered) then take it to toyota at curramundi to have a look at my rear suspension and see if anything is wrong? (duhh).

Does anyone have measurements from a balance/alignment of their own?

Before you ask, no i cannot remember hitting at gutters or massive pot holes.

So i've either done it and not realized or the guy who installed my sound system took it for a run, damaged it and 'forgot' to tell me. No, I didn't check the Km's before/after the install.

Thanks for reading guys.

Toyota alignment specs can be found here; http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...showtopic=11228

See if you can just have the rear suspension pulled back straight again; I know a fella in Brisbane that can do it, but not anything local to you.

Thanks dave could you pm me details about this guy?

What kind of feedback would you give his methods?

Looking at your datasheet 1.7 - 2.5mm is normal?

It's a bit hard to make out, but what it is saying is 0.7mm give or take 2.5mm. so a range of 4.2 to -0.8mm is 'within spec', whether it is ideal is another matter.
