Cost of 10K service

I got mine done and it cost me $230. i don't see how they can justify the cost. i had an old celica and always serviced it myself every 5000km. the oil was $20, filter - $15, airfilter, $15-20, degreaser - $2, time taken - 1 hour.

I just had my 15,000 service, cost me $75. That was an oil change, handbrake adjustment and a general once over.

Its bull**** aye!! I was just lucky i was mates with the service advisor and parts interp!!!

Nar Toyota did it....$45 labour plus oil, filter, injector cleaner, oil dumping etc!!

And the general cost for an intermediate service (every 5000kms should only be around $80)
