i want to install extractors and the o2 sensor will have to be moved further down from the original spot but im afraid the stock cable is too short. and to make it harder for myself i don't want to cut up/solder the stock cable hence a plug n play one. like this:

It's two wires, cut the factory wires and solder in an appropriate length of wire, add some heat shrink to prevent shorts, and job done; shouldn't take more than 5 minutes and will cost next to nothing.

isn't the sportivo o2 sensor a heated 4 wire sensor like the 1zz's use? My runx came with a 4-wire sensor.

It's a bad idea to cut and solder the wires in the o2 signal circuit, they're best crimped like the joins in a factory toyota harness.

I'd be grabbing a dead o2 sensor to steal the plug and wires from, and a second o2 sensor loom plug housing from toyota along with some crimp pins from one of the online retailers like http://www.bmotorsports.com/shop/index.php/cPath/109 . The loom plug housing part number can be found in the connector repair manual which has been posted over at Toymods by Wilbo.

Edit: Just looked up the 2zz o2 sensor loom plug housing part number:

yeah i remember seeing 4 wires (mine's a 1zz) and a exhaust guy said the wires are made of stainless steel? so didnt want to mess with that.

thanks for the link! i spent ages trying to look for that! they also have the male and female plugs with crimps and wire seals. are they the correct ones?

I'm sure Wilbo posted a link somewhere at toymods with a download link to the connector repair manual.

The facelift 1zz o2 sensor loom plug is part 90980-10869

You would need to visually compare the tang locations on your plug compared to the ones on that website.

thanks will have to check.

is there anything special about the wiring to the sensor? normal 18 gauge wire is fine?

Yeah it is, I just never really paid close enough attention to it to bother counting the wires :P
