Hi

My Daughters 97 - non Turbo Starlet has a Dead motor - possibly valves or head gasket, no water in the oil.

The car died with a warning light from the ECU but no clue what the fault is - it just died some time after, it was low or out of water steamed a little but when filled back up no water has been lost, but then the motor will not start, it tries and turns over without a problem but only kicks sometimes....

Anyway it looks like the head will have to come off and be looked at, we have got the car back from the mechanic and when I get time will take the head off and look at it...

What I was looking for is some information on this motor - workshop manual or something like that,

also if anyone has a motor or top end that is in good condition and wanting to send it to a new home please let me know.

Regards
