1992 Camry

Hi people my name is David and in a few days I will be the owner of a low k 1992 Camry (SV21)with 115000ks after a accident with my 2002 magna with a taxi. This car comes with a 12 month nation wide warranty and roadside assist with RACQ the car yard wants $3999 for it, it is one owner and full service history, serviced ontime with previous owner. Do you think it is worth the price I know car yards have to make a profit and to insure it would only be worth $3100 agreed value. Also what companies in Australia do performance parts for camrys? out of interest.

Also how reliable are toyota's I have never had one before, had a 1994 ED Ford Falcon (RED P'S), 1994 Mitsubishi XI Verada (Green P'S) and 2002 Mitsubishi TJ Magna Advance (Open). The ford was okay in reliability, both Mitsubishi fantastic till about 180,000 K's then things start failing one by one.

I am suprise with the amount of boot space and interior size not bad, enough to fit my 3 kids in the back seat for a smaller size car compared to the ford and mitsubishi's and fuel tank size of 60 litres I will be laughing as I drive very lightly on the pedal so fuel consumption would be great for me.

I must say she drives really smooth very quiet and smooth gear changes with the auto transmission, hold really well on the highway with the 2litre engine at 100 and 110k which suprised me having had V6 cars before and this will be the first 4 cylinder.

I look forward to meeting anyone else in the townsville, charters towers region to talk about toyota's this is a new world for me.

Cheers

David
