Flashing 4WD Lo and VSC and Engine warning lights

Not ideal where you are but I would ry a couple of things:

Either disconnect the batteries (both) and leave for a good 10 mins - enough time for all

electrics to discharge.. Another one which worked for me was to disconnect the ECU - big

plug on the passenger side firewall. Same thing, allow for electrics/electronics to discharge.

Not practical for you at this stage but if you can get a Scangauge. This will allow you to clear the

codes. 

Car has gone in limp mode. I had this problem several times whilst towing a caravan due to

a performance chip which would cause a limp mode. No more as I have had the ECU remapped.
