Different height on front and rear=any problems?

Hey everyone,

I feel my front suspension are still too high, and i can put one finger in,so thinking about customizing front springs to become 3.5 inch or 4 inch lowered. But i only lowered my rear springs for 3 inch, so if my front springs got 1 inch lowered than the rear. Are they going to cause any balance problem? At the moment, i can not afford good coilovers, thatz why i only can do on the springs first. So Please give me some suggestions.

Dont cut your springs. Its cheap yes, but it is dangerous. And in the event on something happening on the roads (touchwood), your insurance company wont insure you. As for balance problems, if you lowering your car 2-3cm (Correct me if im wrong), by rule you should get a wheel alignment done.

My car is currently sitting just 1cm higher in the front than it is in the back. No issues. But i will correct this when i have time to unseize my coilovers.

King springs can proivde reset springs by heat up their springs, and then reset length of each spring. They are not just simply cutting them. Before i had 2 inch Kings springs on my car, and then i asked them to reset these 2 inch kings springs to get 1 more inch lowered. So i think itz the same as before, but customized by speical requested. Do you think this is right, private number (correct me if i am wrong)?

Now I lowered my car around 6-7cm. yeah, i do wheel alignment everytime after i put out the shocks. But different height between front and rear, is that going to cause any different tread of tyres or other driving balance?

To be honest, i dont really know much about resetting the springs if anything at all.

What i do know that having a different height front and back will not cause any uneven tread wear. It will occur if your camber is adjusted though. I believe the back of cars go up and down a lot due to the amoutn of fuel in the tank anyway. Could drop anywhere between 3-5cm just because of how much is in the tank. The main tread wear you will get anyway is from the front, due to camrys and toyotas being front wheel drive.
