Hi,

I'm a little confused.

I just put my 05 hilux in for a 120k service after purchasing a few months ago and had a heavy duty clutch fitted.

Now when sitting on just over 60 with a slight bit of accelorator I get this weird hummmm and annoying vibration throughout the whole car.

It wasnt there b4 and when I asked the mechanic he said it was a hormonic imbalance and he has no idea why or what could be causing it.

The car seems to handle fine but I am still a little concerned.

Can anyone shed some light on what this may be?

Cheers

Steve

Toyota did something like that to me when they replaced the clutch (under warranty) in my Prado. The cause of the vibration was that the dimwits didn't tighten up the nuts holding the front driveshaft to the diff, and one had fallen out and the other 3 were loose.
