does anyone know how much it would roughly be to replace the head gasket in my 89 sx???

cheers

to DIY it shouldn't be more than $100 for a gasket.

Before you worry about parts, get professional advice on if/why it has blown. in many cases, chronic overheating that causes a blown head gasket, results in a soft head which is un-usable. you also need to replace the head bolts. Assuming its a 3SGE, then those heads are very prone to serious corrosion, another cause of seemingly blown head gaskets

The head gasket itself is cheap (about $70), but all the other gaskets, bolts etc add up. expect to pay about $200 if its a 3SG
