Hi guys,

i want to get my 7" Monitor custom fitted in my dash because i dont like when it has a black trim around it or w/e. I asked Auto Acoustics in Artarmon how much it would cost me to get everything fitted and painted..i got quotet 500$.

Now, i was wondering if anyone knows a place that has good pricing so i can compare or even find a place that does it cheaper.

I smell a ripoff. That is a quite afternoon job for me. I'm sure some cash, some beer and pizza and we can work something out

you can fit it, paint the trim around it to match the original colour etc.? Ill talk to you tomorrow about that lol

Hey

I have had a few stereos supplied and fitted by so called professionals. Please please please ask to see some of their workmanship before going ahead.

On one of the jobs I had done they cut through the plastic fascia on the dash and then used 50mm screws to mount the stacker to the floor. The guy mounted it under the front seat but it was so far back there was not enough foot room in the rear of the AU Falcon it was done to.

Be warned cheaper is definately not always better
