tarago engine trouble on going

we have a toyota tarago tcr10 1997 sometines when cold, it only starts on 3 cylinders and blows a lot of white smoke, after it has been running for a minute of two it will run on 4 cylinders, but the smoke continues on up till 3 or 4 minutes. We have replaced fuel injectors, distributer cap, rotor button, spark plug leads, spark plugs and water sensor for computer, but this has not fixed the problem. We have had it compression tested, all ok and it uses no water or oil. It has 400,000km. When this problem clears the car runs perfect. As stated this does on occur all the time. Can someone please help.

sounds like a tiny leak in headgasket to me,might be small now and water leaking into one combustion chamber "we are talking little amounts"

and while engine is hot its not an issue as head is expanded but then car engine cools and seepage starts again..

corroded water port to cyl on head maybe or badly torqued head bolts at some stage in life "always use new head bolts on taragos as threads streetch"

does the vapour smell like anti freeze?

Hello Im new in this furom dont know exactly how it works but I have ABS problem with my Tarago. ABS light always lit, anybody knows how a reset procedur is done.
