Sera Turbo Conversion

I got my hands on a Sera this week mainly as a project so I have something to do with my weekend's its in decent condition Auto with only 72000km on the clock drivable but no rego. I want to do a 5EFTE Manual conversion using a Starlet front cut but not sure if it will pass a roadworthy in QLD? I think it should be covered with a LA3 mod plate but any input on this or advice with the conversion would be great :)

4EFTE/5EFTE conversion should pass with no dramas... providing its done properly you will have no drama getting a mod plate.

My partner and i are doing the same thing, we brought the whole car starlet gt 1994. it will pass rego... but aparantly if you get an increase in power by 15% then you have to get an engineering cert which is about $1000, although we are in nsw and its a manual the same rules should apply.... good luck.

ps make sure you get a good tint... you will regret it other wise

plus you might need to upgrade suspension and brakes....
