The 1/4 mile isnt actually 400m in actual fact its closer to 402.336 m

402.336m = 0.25000000000000006 miles

with a bit of trial and error ive managed to get the exact length of a 1/4 mile

402.33599999999998 m = 0.25 miles

I actually thought it was closer to 5/20ths of a mile, infact it may be more accurate to incinuate that the 1/4 mile is actually 35/140ths of a mile...
