Celica ST Liftback 1978 RA40 (mustang shape) - drivers door help

Hi, I'm a newbie looking for help or advice please.

I am looking to source a replacement drivers door for my Celica. It was involved in a crash last year, caused by a driver who ran a red light.

Problem is, this car is uncommon. I've registered with a few auto parts website's, but nothing has come up so far.

I don't want to sell the car, because the rest of the car is in ok condition and the car has sentimental value - my Grandad had this car from new and it was his pride and joy.

Can anyone suggest some places where I might be able to source a drivers door for this car?

Does anyone know if any other Toyota models use the same door?

Thanks in advance.

you can try Sleeka spares or Bluewire both in south australia, also look for an RA23 or Ra28 door as they are the same

Cheers Sheki, I will give them a go. Thanks also for the substitution suggestions, that will help I am sure.

I shall keep the post updated with my quest for the Celica door! :-)
