Seat rails - BRIDE

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

Just wondering where I'm able to source seat rails (bride or recaro) to fit the driver's side for a ZZE chassis Sportivo? I'm having major difficulties at the moment.

If it matters the seat is a BRIDE CUGA.

Has anyone else done this? I realise theres a set for sale in Vic at the moment, but I don't really need the pair...

Thanks in advance

Alf

Seat mounting width is standard between the high end seats like Bride and Sparco.

Be sure to check out the Bride website to make sure you get the rails you want. Some, like the FIA spec ones, are made to order so there can be a couple weeks wait for it to be made. They do low profile ones, fixed rails; side mount, bottom mount to suit the seat you get.

last month i ordered my rails from www.perfectrun.com.au

just tell them what seats you got and they will tell you the suitable rails

i quoted rhdjapan, nengun, perfectrun etc, roughtly +/- $20 between them.

The Bride rails are holding my Sparco seat fine, I didn't tell them any different size. Just need to make sure the mounting width is 200mm wide from memory; and the obvious issue of side and bottom mount seats.

I replaced all the bolts provided in the Bride kit with grade 8.8 high tensile bolts. There are no markings on the provided bolts, so don't trust them.

Thanks for the replies guys,

I've been spending the past week trying to modify Andy's old rails, no show. Might have to just bite the bullet and get the genuine bride ones.

Thanks in advance

Can someone confirm the DRIVER'S side number? I've emailed Perfectrun and they've quoted

"If you are after the one for right-hand side drive model, T187RO is the one for driver’s side. T188RO is for left-hand side seat (passenger side in Australia)."

Here you go.:)

ZZE...

Left= T187RO

Right= T188RO

Just be sure to check that your seat is suited to this type of rail.

And for ZRE owners...

Left= T183RO

:yahoo:

so are these numbers able to hold SR3 seats? or do i have to look for another number?

can you buy the YO type and fit them on the SR2 recaros? or do you have to buy the RO type rails? Also i heard that the SR range recaros will fit on the bride rails. whether they are sr1-4. that true?
