Hello Have decided to replace my 22r engine due excessive oil consumption+noisy cam chain{toyota mechanic says its a sticky cam aduster or low oil pressure}Gem reco with less than 40000 klms.compression around 150 lb, have also used seal up due to water loss. My problem is I only wish to remove the motor.Appears to me it is basically impossible to access the engine to transmission bolts on the top.Is there a special tool or some method to doing this.I have limited height to remove engine so am unable to remove engine and auto together. My sevice manual only has removal as one unit.Previously had an old 67 xr ford and could remove+replace engine in a day by myself.Any clues where to find info would be appreciated. Thank you John
