I picked up a 1999 model rav4 cruiser from newcastle.

The oil is full before the trip, I did a 400kms trip last week.(i live in dubbo)

When i checked the dipstick this morning. the oil is half way beween full and low.

I crawled underneath the car and i find the edge of plastic cover is full of oil(from left to right)

But there is no oil around the rocker cover.

I pulled out every spug plug and found out that the No.1 spark plug(the one near the timing belt) has oil above the thread.

Could it be a blown head gasket or leaking from front crank shaft seal?

beside

sometimes while i am steering there is a slight noise, and the power steering fliud is on the half way betweern full and low as well.

Is it a common problem with the power steering rack at this model(leaking)?

any suggestion is appreciate

Cheers
