Hey guys, last weekend i found myself seemingly fixated watching the BTCC on tv whilst getting my tat added to and i noticed that there was a very nice looking toyota sporting an orange and black livery... my question....what model is that and can i get one here ??

Nah the Axio is the Japanese Super GT GT300 racer, the BTCC model would be the Avensis NGTC (Next Gen Touring Car)

Short answer is No, the Avensis is not sold here, Euro only (not even sold or made in Japan)

The Avensis was a Euro-only model till 2003, which was exported to Japan from the UK in sedan & wagon form (With 180KM/H JDM speed limiter, optional 4WD and two direct-injection petrol engines.).

The current Avensis on the other hand, was released few months ago in Japan, this time only as a mono-spec (2WD only, one grade and one engine/ transmission option) wagon.

My mistake, I forgot they did end up bringing to to Japan eventually, bit surprising as it'd overlap significantly with the Caldina
