black chrome tail lights

just got a set of black chrome tail lights..... and to find i need to modify the standard loom's and get sum new bulbs. lmao bloke @ penrith toyota said it was bolt on. job done...

any help guys...... im only a plumber :P need some techy talk. lol

you new lights will have the face lift socket on them, you need a face lift plug, ie the end part of the loom of a face lift. When i changed my tail lights from my face life 1zz to my non face lift 2zz i just cut the plugs off and swaped them over, when i did this i found that all of the wires were the same colour on both cars so it was just a case of matching the colours. hope this helps

all sorted n fitted.

The loom that comes with it, I removed the pins from the loom, discarded the loom and put the pins in individually. worked fine..

had to purchase the globes but they were just standard size globes that i got from the hardware...

only took bout an hour.. very easy to DIY.

cost me $300 for the lights...... go penrith toyota :)

i got a preface lift one, when i whack in the lights, the wrong one indicates and for one nothing works at all, the side indicator goes extremely fast, but no light comes on! the loom fits but yeah :( crap hey i really want it to work, or else got to send back to the guy i bought it from,

mine are hte white version of yours mike, i got mine for $210 tho
