Tyre size for my ZZE, Will it fit?

Ok guys,

I have done a search, and found heaps of useful info

I am running 15s stock on my ZZE, now I am thinking of getting 17s

Options are 215/45/17, has anyone had experience running these tyres, and is there any rubbing/concerns I should be aware of before I take the plunge?

Wheel calculator states it will be 1.6% slower than stock, which is fine by me, as its a tyre that is easily obtainable.

205/45/17 will be optimum, however It's a nightmare getting anyone that stocks used tyres for this profile

So should running the 215/45/17s cause no problems?

205/45r17 used tyres.? You for real? Mate I always say if you can't afford to maintain a car u don't deserve it, if it's a scratch fair enough but tyres are your life and your girlfriends an your nephews etc !! Dnt be cheap, maxxis is only 150each for that size

Thanks, does anyone know if running 215/45s will cause any rubbing, wouldn't mind the extra diameter, as well

I got 215/45/17 and it used to scrub the rears through big dips and bumps after i lowered it. Got a guard roll and its all good now.

What are the specs of the 17" your looking at ? width, offset ?
