1UZ-FE Help Required

Hi all,

I have recently bought myself a Toyota Celsior UCF11 with the 1UZ-FE mated to a 4 speed auto.

I am looking at pulling the engine out and transplanting it into a Corolla E30 - E70.

I was wondering whether there are any other gearboxes (preferably manual) that mate straight up to a 1UZ.

Also how much boost can a stock 1UZ block take before it goes boom?

W58's bolt right up with an aftermarket bellhousing adapter.

I havent heard of any boosted 1UZ's, if they were good people would obviously be boosting them more often. If you want boost look into the 1JZ. ;)

There is only 1 stock trans that bolts on and that is the A341 that it comes with.

You will need an adapter for any other gearbox. castlemain rod shop make W5x and R154 adapter plates afaik.

From what I have read, under 10psi on stock internals should be do-able.
