Hi everyone. At some stage I registered an account here, but I only read the emails that are sent. Yes, I am lazy but it's time to throw up a build thread so here it goes.

Spec's are:

11/1985 AE86 Levin GT APEX

Suspension:

Front:

-TRD Coilovers, steel sleeve, 74mm ID springs ~8kg

-Tokico HTS 102f

-Cusco camber tops

-T3 33mm RCA's

-Stock 21mm sway bar urethane bushes

-Whiteline strut bar

Rear:

-TRD blue 8 ways, nolathane bushes

-TRD springs

-Stock sway bar

-Whiteline adjustable panhard rod

-Whiteline 4 link with adjustable tops

-T3 traction brackets

Engine

-Rebuilt smallport 100kw motor

-Cold bathed, bead blasted head shaved 5 thou

-Acid dipped 7rib block

-TRD 272° 7.5mm camshafts

-TRD 0.8mm head gasket

-ARP head studs

-TIG welded cut and shut manifold

-T3 adjustable cam gears

-Toyota timing belt

-Gates water pump belt

-Billet aluminium, single row harmonic balancer

-Penrite 15-60

-Top Gun 8.8mm leads

-NGK R late 7AFE(whatever heat suits) sparkplugs

-TRD copy extractors

-2 1/4" extractors back, under diff exhaust

-Modified Toyota sandwich plate, VT commodore oil cooler with Pirtek lines

-Cusco oil catch can vented "legally"

-K&N filter in custom box, cold air drawn from bumper and pushed up and behind the headlight

Driveline:

-AE71 Pano T40 (T50 ended up crunchier than peanut butter)

-Rebult clutch by NPC

-Exedy organic clutch plate

-TRD/Exedy race spec pressure plate (machined and shimmed)

-Toda 3.6kg 200mm flywheel (machined)

-Castrol VMX gearbox oil

-TRD short shifter

-Rebuilt rear calipers

-RDA slotted rotors (all round)

-A1RM pads (all round)

-Braided lines (all round)

-PBR DOT3 brake fluid

-Brand new manual rack with T3 maunal rack adaptor bushings and super pro bushings (power steering crossmember)

-RA60 190mm rack ends

-AJPS Motorsport tie rods with fully sealed slimline joints

-Cusco brake stopper

Diff:

-TRD 2way LSD in rebuilt diff with new bearings

-4.3 cw&p

-Penrite Limslip 140 LSD gear oil

Interior:

-Velo GP90 fixed back drivers seat

-Nardi wheel

-TRD resin gear knob

-stripped interior

-Cusco 5 Point half cage

-Speco electric oil temp gauge

-Omori mechanical oil pressure gauge

Exterior:

Enkie Apache's, 13x7 +0

Federal 595, 205/60/13

I've had the car since mid 2009 and has gone through a lot in that time. The car is virtually new underneath and the motor was rebuilt mid 2011 with spirited driving in mind with the ability of track work. It went down the quater mile at 15.6secs, prior to rebuild and TRD camshafts. A semi trailer clipped the left and side early in 2011 and was left in a hit and run situation, luckily I had insurance to cover the $6k worth of damage.

The car is having a new rust repairs at the moment with the intention of re-painting the roof which looks very tired. That's it for now, enjoy the pictures.
