Toyota Celica Gen 7 Audio System

Hi All,

I'm new to this forum so bear with me.

I have just recently bought a Celica Gen 7 and wish to change the Audio system.

Here is my requirement,

1. New head unit 2-din if possible

2. New speakers, how many should I after?

3. I'm not after bass heavy, Do I need an amp?

4. My budget is $1,000

I'm newbie in sound system, what is you guys recommendation?

1. Any double din is fine, just get something with aux/usb, and is compatible for subs

2. 4 ? 2 in rear 2 in front ? depends what you want.

3. Yes you need an amp for a sub

4. $1000 is possible provided you install everything yourself

I have no idea how to install it, so I have to hire a professional to do it.

Yes, 2 in the front and 2 in the back.

If I don't want Sub, do I still need an amp?

Is it possible that still in my budget?

if you are getting after market speakers, then yes, i suggest an amp

a 4ch amp will be fine for sound quality,

installation is very expensive so ask around your area, tell them you have a $1000 budget

With your budget, 2 channel amp will be suffice. Rear speakers are sound fillers only, so I would recommend spending more money on front speakers.
