Smart entry not working front passenger door

Hi guys,

i'm hoping some one can help out here.

i have a 2007 presara for some reason smart entry on the front passenger side will not automatically unlock or lock (pressing the botton on the handle).

it work fine on the driver side.

anyone care to shed some light.

What happens when you press the black button to lock the vehicle? Do you get a very long extended, single beep?

Have you checked that the key fob battery is OK?

Have you tried unlocking and unlocking with the spare key fob which you should have with the Presara? The vehicle comes standard with two key fobs. If you can lock/unlock with the spare key fob, then the key fob you've been using has an issue (most likely low battery).

I have started to notice a very long extended beep upon unlocking my car. Is this telling me the fob battery is low??

tried it with the spare key fob and still nothing. i know its not low on battery.

no extended beep.

im suspecting a loose connection to the sensor or some sort.

next service might get the dealer to look at it.
