2005 corolla key transponder type?

Hi my daughter has lost her 2005 corolla (Australian model) master key.

I had a look at her "spare" key and it doesn't have a dot or G on it, how do I determine what chip set to order, there appears to be 4C & 4D available on ebay.

Do you still have a master key left? ( Black/ Remote key)

Hi Brendan, unfortunately no thats the one that is lost.

No point getting a key from Ebay then as you wont be able to code it in. You have 2 options,

1. Get your existing key cloned but you can't get a remote for it this way

2. Get your immobiliser reset and a Master key coded in.

The second option is a couple of hunderd dollars more but is the better way to do it as you can then have a master key.
