Hi all.

I am new here and hoping you can help me. I am halfway through fitting a new rear wheel bearing on my 2000 3.0D hilux. Thing is the bearing has a shoulder on one side, and i cant rememebr which way it came out! The inner race protrudes a little bit, but does this face in or out? Anyone able to help me out?

Cant believe i didnt look before....

Many thanks

Pete

The protruding bit goes towards the wheel side/outside, it has a bigger taper inside it which matches where it butts up to on the axle, it wont go all the way on if you put it around the wrong way and obviously the wheel postioning will be all whacked.
