Dash lights,Headlights turning off

Hi i own a 2007 Corolla and when i turn on my parker lights my dash lights do not turn on, and when i put my head lights on the dash lights turn on but no headlights. What could be the problem? i have checked the fuses and they are fine.

A very common problem on the ZRE model corolla was the dimmer switch (headlight/indicator) switch failing internally.

Your issue sounds very much like this.

The remedy is to replace the whole dimmer switch.
