Brand new Prado 2022 with intermittent engine/transmission stutter
I have a 2023 Toyota Prado VX, got a toyota genuine alloy bullbar fitted and 30,000km logbook service done at the same time on 05/05/2025. Since I got the vehicle back I can feel some vibration through the floor especially from the footrest while 1500~1600 rpm. It is not extremely bad but can be felt. Bring back to Toyota Dealer and the technician can feel that too but as a result no fault found. Anyone has any update yet regarding 1500 rpm rattling & vibration ?- engine stutter

A Yaris YRX spec questions
Thanks Steve, I have a 2014 RAV4 2.2 Turbo Diesel with a TDI tuning, 7 stage tuning module....I love the thing. Had a few Corolla's, Camry's & Tarago's. The Yaris YRX just looks a nice, zippy small car 🙂- 1

A Yaris YRX spec questions
Hi Matt Just wanted to welcome you to the forum! You will find a lot of helpful advice and tips. Sorry don't know much about the Yaris , only to say my Step Daughter looked at that year model and the Corolla so that she could get her Red P plates. Whatever your choice I find Toyota vehicles solid and reliable. 🚗✔️👍 Safe travels Steve in Tamworth NSW- 1

A Yaris YRX spec questions
Hi All, I'm new here, I've been a Toyota owner for 20 + years & I am now looking to bring my L plater daughter into the fold 🙂 How does the Aussie spec Yaris YRX (1.5) manual (circa 2008), compare to say the UK's Yaris T Sport (1.5). Looking at them, they seem to produce the same power & torque figures. Aside cosmetic differences, sportier seats & badges is that all that differs or is there differences in suspension, gearbox, ride height, chassis stiffness, etc) ? The YRX looks like a fun, reliable car with a good spec, but I am curious to know if anyone knows ? Many thanks in advance, Cheers, Matt W 🙂 -

speakers 2020 Hilux
Hi Michelle, The head unit usually has the amplifier built in. Only top end or custom systems have separate amps. You can get reasonable multimeters for a few dollars, but they will be useless troubleshooting the car's electrics, with the engine running, ignition interference. Herb -

speakers 2020 Hilux
Hey Herb, I haven't managed to locate the amplifier, it isn't where Google said it was. The plugs seem to be taped over but there didn't look like much room for it anyway. I looked under the head unit behind the dash. I do have a multimeter that was my father-in-laws so it's very old and doesn't have ohms lol. Might be time for a new one. Try again tomorrow :) -

speakers 2020 Hilux
Hi again, Michelle, I did a search and found Toyota speakers, for another model and they were 4 ohms and 17.5 watts. The watts rating won't damage the amplifier, but the amplifier may blow an under rated speaker. If you have a multimeter, that can measure very low ohms, you could try measuring the old speakers, as the nominal rating is close to the resistance. Herb
